Top Trademark Attorneys Recognized in the CSC® Trademark Insider® Annual Report

London, UK and Wilmington, DE: (www.cscglobal.com) – Corporation Service Company® (CSC®), a leading provider of trademark research and watching, brand monitoring, and domain name management services, recently released the 2009 CSC® Trademark Insider® Annual Report.

A quarterly publication on the trademark industry, the report provides a ranking of leading trademark practitioners, insight into overall trademark filing activity, and analysis of overall industry trends.

Trademark Insider® Awards were determined by calculating the number of times an individual law firm and/or attorney is listed in the Correspondent field of all USPTO applications submitted during the calendar year 2009.

The 8th annual CSC Trademark Insider Award recipients were announced in this year-end report. These awards are presented to the top 10 U.S. trademark law firms, metropolitan area trademark law firms and individual attorneys. Greenberg Traurig remains in the number one national law firm spot for the fourth year in a row, with K & L Gates, DLA Piper Rudnick, Fross Zelnick Lehrman & Zissu, and Law Office of Xavier Morales comprising the top five U.S. law firms.

The top five individual attorney award recipients were Xavier Morales, Lawrence E. Abelman, Josh Gerben, Arturo Perez-Guerrero, and Christopher J. Day.

The report also provides the rankings for the Top 100 company filers. Topping this list was Time Warner, followed by Mattel, Inc., Johnson & Johnson, Walt Disney Company, and Bristol-Myers Squibb Company.
